Mindgrid started in Khon Kaen in early 2022, when a small group of AI practitioners and educators noticed a gap: learners in Thailand had access to scattered resources but lacked a clear, well-paced structure to follow. Many would start enthusiastically, then lose their way mid-journey.
The founding team — with backgrounds in software engineering, applied machine learning, and adult education — designed a curriculum that treated learners as adults who needed clarity, not motivation speeches. Every module maps to the next. Feedback is specific. Progress is visible.
Today, Mindgrid runs three main programs ranging from Python fundamentals to full AI engineering practice. Learners are based across Thailand and neighbouring countries, studying mostly in evenings and weekends around existing work or studies.

How we maintain quality
Every course is reviewed, every mentor is vetted, and every learner's progress is tracked — not to create pressure, but to make sure no one gets left behind without noticing.
Reviewed curriculum
Course content is updated each intake to reflect current tools and practices in Python, deep learning, and AI engineering.
Vetted mentors
Each mentor holds active industry experience in AI or software. We do not use recent graduates as sole reviewers for advanced modules.
Data privacy
Learner data is stored securely and not shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Progress visibility
Learners can see where they are in the course at any time. Mentors check in proactively if someone appears to have stalled.
Specific feedback
Code reviews and assignment responses identify specific issues rather than giving general scores. Learners understand what to change and why.
Iterative improvement
We collect feedback at the end of each cohort and use it to refine lessons, pacing, and project scope before the next intake opens.
AI education that takes the subject seriously
At Mindgrid, we think the field of AI development deserves careful, honest teaching. That means being straightforward about what learners will and will not be able to do at each stage, rather than creating the impression that a few weeks of study transforms someone into an expert practitioner.
Our three programs — Foundations of AI Coding, Practical Deep Learning, and the AI Engineering Pathway — cover a genuine range of depth. The introductory course is designed for people who have never written code. The engineering pathway spans six months and involves real deployment work. We are clear about the gap between them.
We are based in Khon Kaen, which means we understand the practical context of learners in Thailand and the wider region: varied internet reliability, study time carved out around other responsibilities, and a job market that is still developing its appetite for AI skills. We design courses with those realities in mind.
Every Mindgrid learner has access to a named mentor — not a support ticket queue — for the duration of their course. We believe that access to a knowledgeable person who can answer a specific question in plain language is one of the most valuable things an online school can offer.
